The 2024 Tesla Model 3 (Highland) is available in two new colors: Stealth Grey and Ultra Red. In January 2024, just days after the car’s launch, I saw the 2024 Model 3 in the stunning Ultra Red color. Recently, I had a chance to check out the new Tesla EV in Stealth Grey, and here’s what I found.
Looks & Equipment
The 2024 Tesla Model 3 features a refreshed design with a sleeker front-end. I’ve noticed that the new front fascia helps the car look lower and wider than last year’s model. I like the more elegant nose section, but I don’t find the wider headlamps more appealing.
On the sides, the Tesla uses 18-inch Photon wheels as standard and gives customers the option to upgrade them to 19-inch Nova wheels for USD 1,500. Both wheels carry a new design, and this Stealth Grey unit flaunts the Nova wheels. In my opinion, its design creates an impression against the Stealth Grey, giving it a more luxurious look.
At the back, I like the new, C-shaped tail lamps and the block-lettered brand inscription. These changes contribute to the 2024 Tesla Model 3’s sleeker design, and help it look more sophisticated, too. On this particular sample, the lack of the Dual Motor badge on the trunk lid means it’s in the base, Rear-Wheel Drive variant.
The 2024 Tesla Model 3 RWD features an all-black interior, but it can be had with a black and white dual-tone interior optionally for an additional USD 1,000. Heated and ventilated front seats, a 15.4-inch center touchscreen in the front, an 8-inch center touchscreen in the back, and a dual wireless smartphone charger are standard.
Having spent a while with the new Model 3, the all-black interior seems easy to maintain and pairs nicely with the exterior. I’m also fairly certain that the newly developed parts and features should find a place in the 2025 Tesla Model Y. And as I pointed out in my first look review of the new Model 3, I feel that Tesla needs to dial back on the digitalization of controls, and introduce physical controls for aspects like the air vents and seat adjustment in its vehicles.
Specs
The 2024 Tesla Model 3 RWD is powered by just one motor. It takes 5.8 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph, and it has a top speed of 125 mph. Its battery pack can be charged at up to 170 kW. Tesla claims charging it for 15 minutes can add up to 175 miles of range. On a full charge, it delivers an EPA-estimated range of 272 miles (18-inch wheels)/248 miles (19-inch wheels). These specs offer a good balance of range and performance for urban driving and occasional long trips.

The 2024 Tesla Model 3 RWD retails at USD 38,990 before options. This price excludes a USD 1,390 destination fee and a USD 250 order fee as well.
