The 2024 Honda Prologue is headed to U.S. dealerships in Spring 2024. North Shore Pearl is its communication color, and I can tell from my experience that it looks great in the new shade, which signifies its eco-friendliness. For Americans who prefer a more traditional look, there’s also Raven Black. However, in my opinion, the Prologue looks majestic in Scarlett Red Metallic, featured here in our exclusive images.
Looks & Features
When I saw the 2024 Honda Prologue in the Scarlett Red Metallic color in person, I noticed that it is a much darker and shinier shade than depicted in official renderings. Scarlett Red Metallic reminds me of the Radiant Red Metallic color available on the Honda EV’s corporate cousin – the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV. If I have to explain the color, it falls between crimson red and jam red, with the flakes embedded in the paint delivering a ‘shimmer.’
Along with the dark red color, the darkened headlamps, gloss black finish on the faux grille, ORVMs, door handles, rocker panels, window surrounds, roof bars, wheel arches, bumpers, and tailgate applique, and 21-inch six-spoke alloy wheels give this 2024 Honda Prologue a sporty styling. The new electric SUV is available in EX, Touring, and Elite trims, and this sample is in the top-end grade.
On the Inside
The interior of the 2024 Honda Prologue Elite will be available in a combination of Black and Charcoal, Brown and Black, or Charcoal and Light Gray colors. This unit features the Charcoal and Light Gray color scheme. Honda uses leather seating surfaces in the 2024 Prologue Elite, but I wish it would’ve used a vegan material or at least offered that as an option.
A hands-free power tailgate, heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, 7-inch by 3-inch head-up display, 12-speaker Bose audio system, etc., are some of the main features of the 2024 Prologue Elite. An 11-inch digital instrument cluster and an 11.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto compatibility are also included.
Specs
The 2024 Honda Prologue Elite is powered by two motors, one mounted on the front axle and one on the rear. These motors produce 288 hp and 333 lb.-ft. of torque and give the vehicle an all-wheel drive drivetrain layout. An 85 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that can be charged at up to 150 kW supplies energy to these motors. Honda expects the 2024 Prologue Elite to deliver a range of 273 miles.

Pricing & Rivals
The 2024 Honda Prologue Elite has been priced at USD 57,900. This figure excludes a USD 1,395 destination fee. Honda says premium colors cost USD 455 extra, and I reckon that Scarlett Red Metallic is one of them. The Prologue competes with the Tesla Model Y, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Nissan Ariya, and the Toyota bZ4X.
