Here at the 2024 Paris Motor Show, I got to explore the 2024 Tesla Model X Plaid finished in the ‘Bleu Outremer Métallisé’ or Deep Blue Metallic, if you’re reading this in America. Tesla is presenting its complete range of vehicles here at the French exhibition, including the Model 3 Performance, Model Y, Model S Plaid, and Cybertruck.

You can read my first look review of the Model X to get the basic details. In this piece, I’ll round up the highlights of this crazy Plaid version.
The 2024 Tesla Model X Plaid comes equipped with Tri Motor Performance All-Wheel Drive, delivering 1,020 horsepower. This insane output enables the well-equipped and spacious family crossover to complete a quarter mile in just 9.9 seconds, making it one of the fastest electric vehicles on the road. The Model X Plaid hits a top speed of 262 km/h, completes 0-100 km/h in 2.6 seconds, and has a WLTP range of 543 km.

The visible distinguishing features include carbon fiber decor in the dashboard, doors and center console, performance brake pads with red calipers, and a Plaid badge on the tailgate. This particular example sits on 22-inch Turbine Wheels.
Besides the love-it-or-hate-it-steering yoke (the example shown in this article comes with a traditional steering wheel), the entertainment-friendly touchscreen infotainment system is the other interior highlight. The 17-inch horizontal display featuring 2200×1300 resolution with up to 10 teraflops of processing power allows console-level gaming.

The driver can tilt the screen towards them for improved visibility. Plus, it’s possible to tilt the display towards the front passenger.
The Tesla Model X Plaid is priced at 122,490 Euros in France. In addition to a seating capacity of up to seven, plenty of luggage space, and high-tech entertainment and convenience features, the Tesla Model X Plaid offers hair-raising performance without compromising on the range, which I find very impressive!
