The 2024 Tesla Model S may not be as fresh as some of its closest competitors on the market, but it is still quite a looker. Recently, I saw it in the Pearl White Multi-Coat color, which is an option worth USD 1,500. Here are my observations:
Looks & Features
The Pearl White Multi-Coat color highlights the pure and low-key design of the 2024 Tesla Model S. Darkened headlamps, door handles, side camera housing, window surround, wheels, tail lamps, and license plate applique create a contrasting look with sporty styling. While I think many customers would like this combination, I would’ve preferred the pristine look to remain intact without these darkened parts.
Tesla offers the 2024 Model S with 19-inch Tempest wheels and, for an additional USD 4,500, 21-inch Arachnid wheels. This white-colored unit settles for the standard-fit 19-inch wheels to keep the energy consumption in check.
Inside the Model S
This particular example has an all-black interior, but in my opinion, the available two-tone black and white interior would suit it much better. However, the latter costs an extra USD 2,000. The dark brown wood trim gives the interior a touch of luxury.
The 2024 Tesla Model S features a tri-zone automatic climate control system with HEPA filtration, ventilated seats, a fully digital instrument cluster, and a 17-inch touchscreen infotainment system that can be tilted left or right. It is equipped with a dual wireless smartphone charger, a rear touchscreen, and a 22-speaker, 960-watt audio system as well.

Under the skin
The 2024 Tesla Model S has an all-wheel drive drivetrain layout, which makes it safer to use on wet and snow-covered roads. It has one motor on each axle, and these two motors produce 670 hp. It takes just 3.1 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph, but its top speed isn’t that impressive – 130 mph. Customers who seek better performance can go for the 2024 Tesla Model S Plaid.
The batteries of the 2024 Model S can be charged at up to 250 kW. Tesla says that charging for just 15 minutes can add a range of 200 miles. According to EPA, this unit with 19-inch wheels can deliver a range of 405 miles on a full charge. The 21-inch wheels drop the EPA-estimated range to 382 miles.
How much is it?
The 2024 Tesla Model S has been priced at USD 74,990. The MSRP excludes a USD 1,390 destination fee and a USD 250 order fee.
