As Nissan’s best-selling model and one of the most popular compact SUVs in the U.S., the Rogue is particularly popular in large suburban markets such as Dallas and Atlanta, where compact SUVs dominate family car purchases.
Below are five new features we expect in the next-gen Nissan Rogue, confirmed to arrive at Nissan’s U.S. dealers for the 2027 model year:
1. Illuminated brand logo

The 2027 Nissan Rogue will feature a brand logo in a modern flat design with LED backlighting at the front. It should illuminate when the vehicle is unlocked and remain lit while driving, turning off only after the ignition is switched off and the vehicle is locked.
2. Invisible Hood View
Invisible Hood View is a feature that shows what lies beneath the vehicle’s hood, and can help drivers spot obstacles, such as a large rock during light off-road driving. The feature would also help drivers judge tight curbside parking spaces in cities such as New York City, San Francisco, and Boston, where street parking can be tricky.
3. Qi2 wireless charger

Nissan will likely equip the 2027 Rogue with a Qi2 wireless charger that comes with a raised magnetic circle to secure the phone in place. Apple iPhone 12 and newer versions, Google Pixel 10 and newer versions, and most other smartphones with a magnetized back would benefit from the latest wireless charger.
The new wireless charger should also have a fan to prevent the smartphone from heating up excessively during hot summer days.
4. New infotainment system

We expect the next-gen Rogue to sport the upgraded 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smoother operation and improved performance. Wireless Apple CarPlay integration, wireless Android Auto compatibility, satellite navigation, and Wi-Fi hotspot would be among the key features of this system.
5. e-Power AWD
One of the main reasons the Rogue isn’t anywhere close to the Toyota RAV4 or the Honda CR-V in sales is the absence of an electrified powertrain. The 2027 model, though, will be available with Nissan’s e-Power series-hybrid system and all-wheel drive, which should push its fuel efficiency to around 40 mpg (combined).

Now in its third generation, e-Power combines an engine with a 5-in-1 electric unit that integrates a traction motor, a reducer, an inverter, an increaser, and a generator. Nissan will likely use a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder gas engine in the 2027 Rogue e-Power to charge a 2.1 kWh traction battery pack, which will supply power to the motor driving the wheels.
