The Lexus LX 700h has just been announced for the U.S., the first hybrid version of its flagship SUV. The model starts at $115,350 (MSRP) and features a twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 engine, a 10-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission, and a nickel-metal hydride battery. The system produces 457 horsepower and 583 lb.-ft. of torque, with an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 20 mpg combined.
Here are five lesser-known features of the LX 700h. Note that some images in this article are of the global-spec LX.
New 12.3-inch Digital Instrument Cluster

The LX 700h features a fully digital gauge cluster with customizable displays. In addition to standard vehicle data, it provides optional readouts such as battery voltage, engine oil pressure, and hybrid system details. Lexus has also redesigned the vehicle animations for drive mode and terrain mode transitions.
New Electronic Gear Shifter

The LX 700h also comes with the Electro-Shiftmatic system. The new electronic shifter is designed to enhance grip and usability, particularly for off-road maneuvers. The center console also integrates the switch for the Advanced Park system with a remote function.
Redesigned Front Seats

The 2025 LX 700h offers an air bladder-based massage system for the front seats when equipped with semi-aniline leather trim. Users can choose from five massage settings, including full-body and targeted modes, and adjust intensity levels through the center display.
Upgraded Wireless Charging Pad
The wireless charging pad on the center console now supports fast charging, providing quicker power delivery for compatible devices.
External Power Outlet
A waterproof AC inverter, located under the center console, allows the LX 700h to supply up to 2,400 watts of external power.
