2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Bronze Appearance Package looks distinct in person

Update (April 10, 2024): Pricing and Performance figures updated.

The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E will be available in not one but two new styles. The first is the ‘Rally’ grade, which I’ve seen in the new ‘Glacier Gray’ color, and the second is a ‘Bronze Appearance Package.’ The latter is available on the GT grade, and recently, I saw it in the new ‘Eruption Green’ color. Here are my first impressions of the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Bronze Appearance Package, where I explore its comfort, features, design, and interior.

Design & Features

The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Bronze Appearance Package offers a distinctive styling in the new Eruption Green paint. However, for customers who prefer to stick to conventional colors, it is also available in Shadow Black and Star White Metallic Tri-Coat colors. I like this model’s special 20-inch Sinister Bronze wheels, which shimmer along with the elegant shade of green.

Ford has equipped the 2024 Mustang Mach-E GT Bronze Appearance Package with “Mach-E 4X” door badges and a rear GT badge, both outlined in Sinister Bronze. The faux mesh front grille also carries a bronze color.

Interior

Inside, while the outgoing Mustang Mach-E GT has an 8-way power driver’s seat, the 2024 Mustang Mach-E GT Bronze Appearance Package has a 10-way power driver’s seat.

I’m six feet tall, and from my experience, I can say that ingress and egress in the front of the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Bronze Appearance Package are pretty easy. I felt that the Ford Performance front seats offered good lumbar support, but its under-thigh support was okay. The headroom was good, too.

Moving to the back seat, I noticed ample headroom first. The long wheelbase meant plenty of knee room, and under-thigh support was enough. The under-floor battery meant that my knees were a bit high, though.

Specifications

Powering the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Bronze Appearance Package are two motors—one for the front axle and one for the rear—producing 480 hp and 600 lb.-ft. of torque. These motors get their juice from a 91 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which deliver an EPA-estimated range of 280 miles. Ford says that it can charge 10-80% in approximately 36.2 minutes. The range and charging times have improved by 10 miles and 8.8 minutes, respectively, for the MY2024 Mach-E GT.

The Mustang Mach-E GT Bronze Appearance Package benefits from the three mechanical upgrades to the Mustang Mach-E GT for the 2024 model year as well: A new rear motor, MagneRide adaptive suspension and red-painted, Brembo-branded front brake calipers with 385-millimeter ventilated rotors. So far, the last two have been exclusive to the Mustang Mach-E GT Performance edition.

The 2024 Mach-E GT achieves 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds, and Ford claims that it can complete the quarter-mile in 11.8 seconds, at 114 mph.
