Alpha Wolf electric pickup truck to enter production in late 2023

Alpha Motors, a new American startup, unveiled an electric pickup truck called Alpha Wolf in Los Angeles on August 24, 2021. The Alpha Wolf MSRP ranges from USD 36,000 to USD 42,000, and interested customers can reserve it now.

Design & Interior

On the outside, the Alpha Wolf has a simple neo-retro design that old-school pickup enthusiasts would appreciate. Off-road fog lights, flood lights, and 17-inch Black Rhino Primm Beadlock race wheels, which the manufacturer bills as “off-road use-only” wheel, are the main exterior highlights. Smaller, 16-inch wheels and larger, 18-inch wheels will also be available. Alpha Motors has tried to give the electric pickup a modern touch with energy efficient LED lighting and stylish flush door handles.

The electric pickup truck features a plain interior in a minimalist theme that gives it a car-like elegant appearance. A fully digital instrument cluster, floating wide touchscreen infotainment system, multi-layered center console storage, and multiple charging ports, and a black-brown two-tone color scheme are the visual highlights.

Specifications

The Wolf is a single-cab electric pickup truck measuring approximately 190 inches in length, 76 inches in width, and 67 inches in height. Its cargo bed is 71 inches long, 62 inches wide, and 17 inches deep and offers 43.3 cubic feet of storage space.

The Alpha Wolf comes in FWD and 4WD variants and offers a towing capacity of 3,000 lbs. The RWD variant has a single motor powering the rear wheels, and the 4WD variant has two motors, presumably one at the front axle and one at the rear. Alpha Motors estimates a range of 250-275+ miles.

Release date

Alpha Motors plans to put the Wolf into production in Q4 2023. This means that it won’t start customer deliveries before late 2023 or early 2024.
