The 2026 Genesis GV60 receives styling updates along with new battery cells with higher capacity, while retaining the original shape of the model, which was released in 2021.
Having gotten up close with the updated GV60 in Europe, as well as the performance-spec GV60 Magma, we recently spent some time with the regular 2026 model in the top-of-the-line Performance AWD trim in the Savile Silver color.
Design

At the front, the 2026 GV60 loses the shield-style grille and the “smiling” accent around it of the 2025 model to adopt a more aggressive trapezoidal shape with inverted-L-shaped intakes. The LED headlamps also receive a minor update, dropping the 10-segment LED setup in favor of a micro-lens array while retaining the original shape.
Viewed from the side, the 2026 model gains a slightly different visual profile due to the front overhang, which increases by 1.2 inches. Side cladding and wheel-arch sections now match the body color instead of black trim, giving the car more visual weight when paired with the standard 21-inch wheels on the Performance AWD trim.
At the rear, the changes are subtle, with the only update being the body-colored bumper section.
Interior

The interior maintains the GV60’s circular design theme while introducing a new display layout for 2026. The bezel between the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system is removed, and is replaced by a single 27-inch OLED screen.
Seating surfaces in the Performance AWD are wrapped in Nappa leather, with the upper and lower sections of the instrument panel, as well as portions of the door panels, also receiving a leatherette finish.
The steering wheel includes heating as standard on the Performance AWD and switches to a three-spoke design that adds hands-on detection to support driver-assistance systems.

For comfort, the front seats offer heating and ventilation, while the rear seats don’t offer ventilation. A digital center mirror and a heads-up display for driver information are also standard on the Performance AWD. Audio is provided by a Bang & Olufsen system with active noise cancellation on this trim.
HUD, ADAS & Parking features
For 2026, the GV60’s ADAS and parking equipment gets repackaged by trim. Lane Following Assist upgrades to LFA 2 across the lineup, while Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist splits, with FCA 1.5 on RWD, AWD, and Advanced AWD and FCA 2 reserved for Performance AWD.
Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist also shifts, with PCA-R on Advanced AWD and PCA-F/S/R on Performance AWD. Remote Smart Parking Assist moves upmarket, with RSPA 2 offered only on Performance AWD, and the head-up display also becomes Performance-only after being standard across the range for 2025.
Specifications

For 2026, Genesis installs new fourth-generation battery cells with a capacity of 84 kWh in the GV60, replacing the previous 77.4-kWh pack while maintaining the same physical size.
The Performance trim is available exclusively with all-wheel drive, using dual motors to deliver a standard output of 429 hp, increasing to 483 hp in boost mode, along with 516 lb-ft of torque.
Driving range for the Performance trim stands at 252 miles on a single charge, according to EPA estimates, down from the 306-mile range of the base trim due to its higher output and AWD configuration.
For the 2026 model year, the GV60 receives a NACS port as standard, replacing the CCS connector used on older models. Charging performance remains unchanged despite the larger battery, with the GV60 capable of charging from 10-80 percent in approximately 18 minutes using a 350-kW DC fast charger.
