2024 Toyota Tacoma i-Force Max Limited displayed in white in Los Angeles

One of the many electrified Toyotas present at the 2023 LA Auto Show was the upcoming 2024 Toyota Tacoma i-Force Max (Hybrid). Of its two available white body shades – Wind Chill Pearl and Ice Cap, it appeared to be painted in the former. The 2024 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid will begin reaching U.S. dealerships in spring 2024.

Toyota plans to offer the 2024 Tacoma i-Force Max in TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, TRD Pro, and Trailhunter grades. The unit the company displayed at the 2023 LA Auto Show was in the luxurious Limited trim, replete an adaptive suspension, 18-inch chrome wheels, deployable side steps, a power tailgate, and a power moonroof. This trim includes a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto support, a digital IRVM, and a JBL audio system as well.

The 2024 Toyota Tacoma i-Force Max’s Limited grade is a luxurious trim with plenty of premium comfort and convenience features.

The Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 (TSS 3.0) suite of advanced driver assistance systems is standard on the 2024 Tacoma Hybrid Limited. It includes a Pre-Collision System (PCS) with pedestrian, bicyclist, and motorcyclist detection, Lane Departure Alert (LDA) with Steering Assist, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) with Emergency Driving Stop System (EDSS), and Road Sign Assist (RSA).

Under the hood, the 2024 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid Limited employs a 2.4-liter turbocharged gas engine that works with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a full-time 4WD system with a center locking differential to send drive to the wheels. The transmission integrates a 48-hp electric motor that gets its juice from a 1.87 kWh NiMH battery pack and assists the gas engine. In total, the i-Force Max powertrain develops 326 hp and 465 lb.-ft. of torque.

The 2024 Toyota Tacoma i-Force Max Limited could retail at around USD 47,000 (excl. DPH fee).
